Improvement KATA Experience

Overview:  Two (2) days (August 28 and 29) classroom training. Through the assemblage of small teams, participants will be able to learn and apply improvement Kata/Coaching Kata concepts to achieve higher perfomance.  Both days are filled with hands-on activities as follows:

Day 1:

• Welcome and Introductions

• Improvement Kata Concepts and Simulation

• Improvement Kata Storyboard

• PDCA and Coaching Cycles

• Reflection

Day 2:

• Continue the application of concepts through simulation:

• Develop the baseline

• Current Condition

• Target Condition

• Several PDCA cycles and experimentation

• Reflection
